Requirements:

1. Minimum of a master’s degree in English or a master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in
2. English with a preferred concentration in Technical Writing or a closely related field.
3. Proficiency with teaching technologies, including lecture-capture software (e.g., Camtasia or Kaltura).
4. Demonstrated evidence of professional growth through participation in continuing education and other related activities.
5. Experience in student engagement techniques preferred.
6. An earned doctorate in English or a related field with 18 graduate hours in English with a concentration in Technical Writing or a closely related field is preferred.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
8. Post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
9. Demonstrated success with online teaching preferred.
10. All degrees must be from a regionally-accredited postsecondary institution.
11. This full-time 12-month position is eligible for continuing contract status and is contingent upon board approval and funding. Starting date is August 2022.

Salary Range: $51,714.00 – $71,322.00 (Based on the level of degree and experience. Salary may be enhanced by supplemental teaching.)
